Braeside School Goals 2007 -2008 . . .
Braeside School is very proud of the overall student performance on all state tests for 2006-2007. The instructional program is designed to ensure a challenging educational experience, based on the Illinois Learning Standards, and our students’ achievement remains very strong. Of note for the 2007 testing results are the improvements in reading scores at Grade 5 (91% meeting and exceeding in 2006, 96% in 2007) and our strong performance in writing (89% meeting and exceeding). Math scores at Grades 3, 4, and 5 are very strong (98%, 100%, and 100%, respectively). Science scores at Grade 4 remain consistently high with 95% meeting and exceeding. Braeside’s instructional program continues to provide an excellent academic experience for all students.
