Spring Session Dates- April 2, 2008 – June 6, 2008*

*IN CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER, parents need to check the NSSD112 website to confirm whether after school activities have been cancelled by the district. HOMEBASE will act in accordance with the District directions in terms of after school activity cancellations due to weather. In the event of cancellation, children will be sent home at 3:17 in the “typical way” they go home, either bus or walk, unless the parent has called the school to advise differently. All attempts will be made to contact parents using emergency numbers. Please insure that your emergency numbers are current.
Please be advised that in the event of cancellation due to weather, no refunds will be provided for cancelled classes.
*There will be no classes when school is closed or there is early dismissal.
*There are no HomeBase classes on Mondays and Tuesdays.

NO YOGA FRIDAY, MAY 30
Session times: 3:25pm - 4:25pm - At 3:17 students will be directed to go to their enrichment classrooms.
STUDENTS MUST BE PICKED UP AT THE FRONT ENTRANCE PROMPTLY AT 4:25 PM.
FAILURE TO PICK UP IN A TIMELY MANNER CAN LEAD TO DISMISSAL FROM THE PROGRAM
Absences – Call the HOMEBASE Supervisor, Ms. Villa at 773-490-0823 by 3:00pm to report your child’s absence. Attendance is taken and it’s very important that we account for everyone.
Behavior – Children are expected to behave as in any other classroom situation. In fairness to all participating students, if a child’s behavior is negatively affecting the HOMEBASE class, they will be withdrawn from the class and no refund will be issued.
Registration and Payment – Payment is due at the time of registration.
Please submit a separate check for each class with completed registration and emergency forms.
Make checks payable to Braeside School PTO. All returned checks will be charged an appropriate administrative fee. All forms and checks should be dropped in the HOMEBASE box in the school office.
THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS ONCE CLASSES BEGIN.

Class sizes are limited. Classes will be filled by lottery. To be in the lottery, your forms and payment must be received by the deadline. If your child does not get into the class, your check will be returned. Those not chosen by lottery will be waitlisted and given priority for the same class next session. You will only be notified if your child is not in the class.
Openings and Late Registration- Openings will be posted on the Braeside website. Openings after the lottery will be filled on a first- come, first- serve basis only until classes begin.
