Grades:
  1. Homework (2 points each day if complete and done on time; 1 point if late ONE day)
  2. Homework Quizzes (12-20 points each). Using only your spiral, you reproduce requested problems with work and answers.
  3. Quizzes (usually 20-35 points each). There are one or two per chapter.
  4. Tests (usually 50-100 points each).  There is one at the end of each chapter.
  5. Word Problems (5 points total; 1 pt.- correct answer, 1 pt. - showing work, 3 pts. – written explanation) – one given per chapter.
Midterm and Final Exam:
ALL students are required to take a midterm and a final exam in Algebra and Geometry.  The midterm exam will be administered at the end of the 2nd quarter. The final exam will be given during the final week of school.  Each exam will count as two test grades during the quarter in which it is administered.
