When Bryce first moves into the neighborhood, Juli flips! She follows him chattering away and driving him crazy. It takes years before Bryce is able to find any redeeming qualities in his quirky neighbor and when he does, it may be too late. This novel is told in alternating first person by the two main characters. The vaired point of view allows the reader to sometimes look at the same situation from two very different perspectives. Though lots of fun, Flipped has a serious message too. There are issues of acceptance that echo throughout and prompt the reader to consider the nature of friends and family.
