Book Match 2008-2009
Book Match is a competetive reading club organized through the Highland Park Public Library. The Youth Services librarians compile a list of fifty excellent books chosen at a variety of levels and in a variety of genres. Students form teams (3-8 students) to read as many of the books as possible. The teams practice and prepare at school and then participate in meets versus students from Elm Place, Edgewood and Northwood at the Highland Park Public Library. At Elm Place Luisa Benson coaches the sixth grade teams and Mrs. Wyatt coaches the seventh grade teams.
