Hi and welcome to Seventh Grade Humanities.

I'm so happy to work with you and your parents this year.

 

Materials you will need for this class:

  • 1 3-ring hard-cover binder (2"-21/2") with dividers or accordion file
  • 2 packages of lined 3-hole composition paper
  • 1 3-subject spiral notebook (81/2 X 11)
  • 2 pens (1 red and 1 black or blue)
  • 4 pencils #2
  • 1 two pocket folder with brads
  • 1 box of colored pencils or markers
  • 1 package of reinforcements
  • 2 highlighters (different colors)
  • 1 3-ring 1" hard-cover binder (to be used for a project)
  • 1 glue stick
Assignments and due dates:
You are expected to turn in an assignment by its due date. If you don't turn it in on time, the grade you earn will drop by half a grade per day. Assignments are posted on the calendars at the front of the classroom and you are expected to keep an assignment book of your own.

If you are ill or have a written parent excuse, you will have a week beyond the day you return to complete missed assignments and/or make-up tests.

Independent writing and reading is expected daily.
