Book Match is an optional reading program for fourth and fifth grade students. Students read from a list of fifty books chosen by the Highland Park Library and take part in a tournament that meets once a week during lunch. One of the culminating events is a single match against Ravinia School.

The LFL is offered to fourth and fifth grade students.
The fall season takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays during lunch recess. 
Running Club is offered to third, fourth, and fifth graders. It takes place in the fall and the spring during lunch recess.
