Welcome to Lincoln Elementary School LINCOLN SCHOOL RECEIVES ACADEMIC AWARD OF EXCELLENCE 2008 ILLINOIS HONOR ROLL Schools receiving the Academic Award of Excellence have 90% of students who meet or exceed state standards on the ISAT test in reading and math for the past 3 years. Lincoln is fortunate to have received this recognition the past 5 years. Lincoln is one of seven schools in District 112 to receive this recognition. Health Update: School Wellness Board Policy On Food Allergies North Shore School District 112 will continue to meet the needs of students with significant food allergies through individual 504 Plans or Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that are developed collaboratively among the student’s parents and physician and the school team. Board policy 6:50, School Wellness, addresses food allergies and has been revised following public input to request that parents, students, staff and visitors consider not bringing peanuts, peanut products, tree nuts or tree nut products on school buses, on school property or into the schools. Should your child have allergies or other medical conditions that your school should be aware of, please contact the nurse at your child’s school so that steps are taken to meet your child’s needs.
