Backpack Tuesdays In an effort to streamline communication between school and home, we are committed to distributing any school-wide and/or grade level handouts on Tuesdays during advisory. At the beginning of the school year, students will receive a black colored folder from the office. Any handouts from district office, the NW office, or the grade-level team will be distributed on Tuesday mornings during advisory. Parents are encouraged to check their child’s “Tuesday Folder” each Tuesday night and return any permission slips or signed documents back to NW on Friday through the folder system. On Fridays, advisory teachers will collect any necessary forms and follow the prescribed collection procedures. We will upload an electronic copy of each Backpack Tuesday packet below: *6th Grade parents should have also received a letter containing a Power Parent username and password for logging onto this system.
