Northwood PTA, the Park District of Highland Park, and School District 112 have created this fun, community wide event in an effort to equalize fund raising opportunities across the district.

38% of Northwood Students qualify for free and reduced lunch. Due to last year’s tournament the Northwood PTA was able to purchase

  • Student and teachers desks and chairs

  • Art carts so teachers don’t have to buy supplies with their own money

  • Newspapers to support the 8th grade Social Studies curriculum

  • Cubicle units to help special education students concentrate

Our goal this year is to raise enough money to continue replacing the aged desks and chairs for our classrooms which cost: $3,500 per classroom + $500 per teacher’s desk.
