Congratulations to the following fifth graders who were recognized on May 7th by the Highwood Chamber of Commerce at the Bruno Bertucci Student Honor Luncheon:
Maydeli,Joel, Ana,Jocelyn,Sam, David,Gisel, Hary, David and Cristal.
The students were selected based on staff recommendation for their character, work ethic, and Oak Terrace Monarch Spirit.
We thank the City of Highwood for sponsoring this important yearly event.

The Oak Terrace Community congratulates Jamie Di Carlo on her new position as the special education learning coordinator for next year! Jamie has a myriad of talents and experiences. She has been a bilingual special education teacher for many years and our gifted teacher for the past 2 years. Jamie has held parent special education workshops, orchestrated our Oak Terrace enrichment fairs, created a wonderful Oak Terrace partnership with Northwestern University and much more. Jamie is fluent in Spanish which will help her to serve the needs of all families. We are very excited about Jamie's upcoming service and leadership to Oak Terrace.
