Immigration
Immigrants didn't always enter New York through Ellis Island. Angel Island was the Ellis Island of the West. Located in San Francisco Bay, it was the entry point for many Asian immigrants. Gros Ile in Canada was the entrance center for many Irish. Links to all sites Photos and Graphics.
