Who ARE we?
The PTO is a Parent-Teacher Organization of Oak Terrace School.

What is our PURPOSE?
Our purpose is to form an effective partnership between families and staff members with the intention of fostering greater student success. Together we will further social, emotional and academic growth for our students by providing a wide array of cultural and educational programs throughout the school year. We also donate our time and resources to the school, to the library and to the staff.

What is our OBJECTIVE?
It is our objective to make ALL children feel significant, unique and a capable member of our community. We assist and support the staff by working in a cooperative role to bring the home and school together. We also assist in planning programs and activities to enhance our children’s educational experience. Our income is derived primarily from various fund raising efforts that help subsidize planned programs and activities.

What can YOU do to MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
Recognizing the value of parental participation, we encourage you to contribute to your child’s overall success by becoming an active member of the PTO.

El PTO es una organización de Padres y Maestros de la escuela de Oak Terrace.

Cual es nuestro PROPOSITO?
Nuestro propósito es formar una asociación efectiva entre familias y miembros de la escuela, con la intención de fomentar más triunfos escolares para nuestros estudiantes. Juntos, aumentaremos el conocimiento social, emocional, y académico de nuestros estudiantes proporcionando varias series de programas educativas y culturales a través del año escolar. También donamos nuestro tiempo y recursos a la escuela, biblioteca, y personal de la escuela.

Cual es nuestro OBJETIVO?
Nuestro objetivo es que TODOS los niños se sientan significantes, especiales, y miembros capaces de nuestra comunidad. Nosotros ayudamos y apoyamos al personal de la escuela tomando un papel cooperativo para unir la escuela y el hogar. También asistimos en planear programas y actividades para mejorar la experiencia educativa de nuestros hijos. Nuestro ingresos es principalmente derivado de varios esfuerzos y eventos creados para cubrir los gastos de programas y actividades.

Qué puede contribuir para HACER UNA DIFERENCIA?
Reconociendo el valor de la participación de los padres, nosotros aconsejamos que contribuya al éxito general de su hijo haciéndose un miembro activo de la Organización de Padres y Maestros (PTO).
