District 112 programs

In cooperation with two community organizations, Lutz Family Center and the Family Network, North Shore School District 112 offers before- after-school programs to provide a safe, stimulating place for children whose parents cannot be home at the start and end of the school day.

Lutz Family Center

Families of students who are in need of before and/or after school care are invited to enroll in the care program provided by the Lutz Family Center.

Family Network Programs

In cooperation with the Family Network, students at Wayne Thomas and Oak Terrace School can register for after-school care at Oak Terrace. Indian Trail, Lincoln and Ravinia School students can receive after-school care at Indian Trail.

These programs are offered as a cooperative effort between District 112, Access and Equity for Young Children, Family Network, Community Family Center, Moraine Township and the Lutz Family Center.

Some of these programs are available to families for a fee based on a sliding scale determined by income. For more information, call (847) 681-6700.
