I. Home Reading
Students are expected to read every night. 

II. Homework
Along with reading, spelling homework will be assigned Monday through Thursday.  All homework is due the following day (unless otherwise noted).
Monday-  words written 3x each     
Tuesday-  abc order
Wednesday- words in sentences
Thursday-  study day
Friday-  spelling test

Students are expected to do their best on homework and it should be neat.  It is ok to get help, after giving it their best effort.  Homework is expected to be turned in on time.

You are the key in making homework a positive experience for your child.  Therefore, I ask that you  make homework a priority, give praise and support, and not let homework be avoided.  Students who do not complete their homework will spend their free time finishing their work. 

Tarea:

I. Leyendo en Casa
El propósito es que los estudiantes lean en casa cada noche. 

II. Tarea
Los estudiantes tendrán tarea cada noche de lunes a jueves.  La tarea será entregada cada mañana.  Además de las páginas del paquete, la tarea consistirá en :

lunes-palabras escritas 3 veces
martes- palabras escritas 3 veces
miércoles-palabras en oraciones
jueves- palabras en oraciones
viernes- examen

Los estudiantes deben poner su mayor esfuerzo en las tareas y su trabajo debe ser hecho con su mejor escritura.  Esta bien que los niños pidan ayuda, pero después de haber tratado de hacerlo sólos.  Uds. son importantes en el proceso de hacer la tarea, además es una buena experiencia para su hijo/a.  Por lo cual les pido que hagan de la tarea una prioridad, les den apoyo y estímulo, y no dejar que la tarea se evite.
