Miss Cahail's Corner

Above:  Red Oak School Principal, Ms. Cahail read Leo the Late Bloomer/Leo, el retoño tardío by Robert Kraus to our Pre-Kindergarten thru Second Grade classes.  Leo the Late Bloomer is a story about a tiger who “couldn’t do anything right”.  But, in his own good time he learned to do everything he wished for and he BLOOMED!  In the photo above, Ms. Cahail and the 2nd Graders are using visualization to imagine their own path, starting from the metaphor of a closed flower (their hands are a model) to blooming, just like Leo, and making their dreams come true!
