BOARD MEETINGS

Board of Education meetings are held in person and the public is welcome to attend. Board meetings are held in the Northwood Middle School Auditorium (945 North Avenue) in Highland Park unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda. Please enter through the Activity Entrance located in the rear of the building. 

Regular meetings are livestreamed and recorded for future viewing. Committee of the Whole or Special Meetings are not typically livestreamed. Check the posted meeting agenda for the livestream status of the meeting.

PUBLIC COMMENT GUIDANCE

At each open board meeting, the Board of Education provides time on the meeting agenda for public comments.  The Board welcomes and encourages comments to be made in accordance with Board Policy 2:230 Public Participation at Board Meetings. Members of the community who wish to address the Board at the stated time on the agenda should sign-up in-person the boardroom before the meeting begins. Board Policy allows for each community members to address the Board of Education for up to 3 minutes. There is no dialogue with the Board of Education during public comment time and comments will become part of the public record. Please review the Board Policy prior to offering comments.
