North Shore School District 112’s departments work together to provide the services and support that make high-quality education possible. Each department plays a key role in ensuring the district operates effectively and remains focused on student success. Business Services

The Business Services Department oversees the financial functions that support the district’s mission. Food Services

The Food Services Department, part of the Business Services Department, oversees meal programs for students, ensuring they have access to nutritious, well-balanced breakfast and lunch options. Food service is currently available at Edgewood, Northwood, Oak Terrace, Red Oak, and Ravinia, with all other schools scheduled to receive these services once construction projects are complete. The department manages menu planning, food preparation, and compliance with federal nutrition standards, while also accommodating dietary needs and allergies. Its goal is to support student health, wellness and readiness to learn through quality meal service.

Operations and Facilities

Registration, Residency and Enrollment

Superintentendent's Office
