UPDATE AT 9:22 a.m. from Dr. Lubelfeld...
This is Dr. Mike Lubelfeld, North Shore 112 Superintendent. An initial search was completed at Red Oak this morning following a bomb threat. Nothing was found during the initial search. Our first responder partners are conducting an additional search with explosive-detecting dogs out of an abundance of caution. Upon conclusion of the search efforts, I will re-evaluate and make a decision regarding the school re-opening. I will share more information about the school re-opening when it becomes available.
Another update will be provided at approximately 10:00 AM.
