Morning Drop Off Reminder

If you drive your child to school, please drop them off at the sidewalk on Baldwin so they can have easy access to the playground. Do not use the parking lot as a drop off, as staff will be pulling in to park, and the lane is for emergency vehicle access and must remain open. Please remember that the circle drive by Millennium Hall is for buses only. The two exceptions to this are rain, or the windchill being below 15. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping your children safe.

End Of Day Procedures

Please be patient during pick up routines. Parents of older students may arrange for pick up along Baldwin to ease traffic along Dean. If there are no legal spaces to pull into, please drive around the block instead of double parking or blocking the right of way for other traffic and buses. In light of recent tragedies involving children in the news waiting at bus stops, we truly appreciate your patience and commitment to the safety of the children.

Day of Giving

The Day of Giving is when students and staff collect and donate food, clothing, household items, and toiletries for families in need. The Day of Giving originated at Elm Place Middle School in 2010. This year, the Ravinia Community has decided to collect diapers and wipes to contribute. We are hoping to continue this tradition of helping over 400 families in Highland Park and Highwood. Northwood Junior High is very proud to be hosting Day of Giving on Saturday, December 1st. Our families are relying on our generosity. PLEASE BRING DIAPERS OF ALL SIZES AND WIPES TO RAVINIA AND LEAVE THEM IN THE VESTIBULE OUTSIDE THE OFFICE anytime prior to 11/29/2018. TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
