Eric Ephraim is the President/Chief Operating Officer at a local bank and a Certified Public Accountant. He grew up in Highland Park and attended West Ridge (until it closed in 1979), Red Oak, Edgewood and Highland Park High School. He has a long history of involvement in the district, including serving on the Superintendent’s Citizen Finance and Facilities Advisory Committee (SCFFAC), and on its finance subcommittee. In the past, he served on the district’s Strategic Planning Steering Committee, as well as the 2010 Citizens Budget Deficit Reduction Committee.
Since 2012, he has served as a board member and treasurer of the 112 Education Foundation and co-chair of its grants committee. He has been active in other community and civic endeavors, including serving as treasurer and on the board of Family Network since 2003, and as treasurer and on the board of the Community Family Center since 2008. He has also served as a volunteer coach for youth baseball, football and soccer. His two children both attended Red Oak. One is a current student at Edgewood, and the other recently graduated from Edgewood and attends Highland Park High School.
